To select the subjects (also referred to as 'units') you would like to study at QUT, refer to the QUT Handbook. You can search for subjects by semester or description.

You may enrol in a maximum of four (4) subjects each semester. However, we recommend that you nominate at least eight (8) subjects per semester in your application in case some of these are not approved for study. For example, some of your requested subjects may not be offered in your preferred semester of study or the prerequisite(s) may not have been met.

Discuss you subject choices with your academic adviser at your home institution before applying to QUT. Your advisers will be able to ascertain if the subjects you intend to study at QUT correspond with the home institution's degree requirements.

As an international student, Australian Immigration regulations require you to be enrolled as a full-time student. You must undertake a minimum of 36 credit points per semester. QUT subjects are generally offered in 12-credit-point units. Most students enrol in four (4) subjects, or 48 credits points, as a standard workload.
